新疆生产建设兵团分布在塔克拉玛干沙漠和古尔班通古特沙漠周边区域,是我国沙化危害最严重的地区。文中在分析新疆生产建设兵团自然概况、沙化土地现状及特点的基础上,总结兵团团场多年来防沙治沙成效,剖析工程建设中存在的问题,提出符合兵团实际的治沙思路:1)在绿洲内部,以绿洲为核心,改造和完善农田防护林体系,推广节水灌溉技术,建设高效经济型林草业;2)在绿洲与沙漠、戈壁交错分布地带,以保护现有植被为前提,以生物措施为主,配套工程措施进行综合治理;3)在绿洲外围沙漠及戈壁,以减少人为破坏、维持生态现状为主;4)采取营造林、封禁保护、非生物工程治理、草地治理、节水灌溉等措施修复沙区植被,防止土地沙化,确保兵团防沙治沙取得实效,促进兵团社会经济可持续发展。

Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) is located around the Taklimakan Desert and Gurbantünggüt Desert, which suffers the most serious sandification in China. After analyzing the local natural conditions as well as the current situation and characteristics of land sandification there, this paper summarizes the long-standing effects of sandification control in the region,analyzes the problems arising in the implementation of sandification control programs, and proposes the sandification control principles in alignment with the actual situation of XPCC. They include: 1) Within the oasis, actions should be taken to transform and improve the farm shelterbelts while to promote water-saving irrigation technology, so at to establish an efficient and economical forest/grassland industry with a focus on oasis; 2) In the areas where oases intersect with deserts and Gobi, biological measures will be taken in combination with sandification programs for integrated sandification control, with the protection of existing vegetation as the precondition; 3)In the desert and Gobi surrounding oases, less human inventions should be adopted to maintain the ecological status; and 4) Countermeasures such as afforestation, enclosed protection, abiotic engineering treatment, grassland treatment, and water-saving irrigation techniques should be taken to restore vegetation in sandified areas and prevent sandification, so as to ensure the effect of sandification control and promote the sustainable socioeconomic development of XPCC.
