文摘内容 Over a number of years,in order to find substitutes for two traditional poplar pollination techniques:outdoor bridging trees and indoor cutting with water culture,research into two new pollination methods of uprooted outdoor seed trees and outdoor cutting branches was carried out.The advantages of two new and improved techniques were of efficiency,economy,safety and ease of operation.The methods can be applied in hybridization and breeding of poplar and other easy-to-root trees.
