摘要 Light and low temperatures are two key environmental cues mediating plant growth and development. Two recent studies (Jiang et al. and Dong et al.) provide novel insights into the underlying mechanisms, showing that the photoreceptor and thermosensor phyB and the transcription factors PIFs and CBFs form sophisticated regulatory networks that orchestrate light and cold signaling in plants.
