英文摘要 In recent years RFLP(restriction fragment length polymorphisms) of DNA is afield of active research in foreign countries.It is a resourceful genetic label,providing a novel research means to genetic plant breeding.Research on RFLP in higher plants began in 1983.In 1983-1985,it was used as genetic label to make an analysis of some species suchas maize and tomato minutely studied by classic genetics.At present time the RFLP diagramof 7-8 important crops has been completed.The application of RFLP to genetic breeding offorest trees began in 1986,and a great deal of research has been made up to now.This paper gives a systematic description of basic concepts,characteristics,principles and methods of RFLP and its application and outlook in the researches on genetic breeding of forest trees.
