中文摘要 中国竹家具历史悠久，形态优美，是中国家具的重要组成部分。湘西地区竹资源丰富，竹编文化底蕴深厚，随着社会的进步湘西竹编迫切需要创新设计以适应时代发展的需要。将湘西竹编工艺与现代家具结合进行再设计，制作出富有现代形式美感的家具产品，既顺应绿色、低碳、可持续的时代发展要求，亦可满足现代人对家具的审美、实用和精神方面的需求，同时也为湘西竹编的传承和发展提供新思路。文章分析了湘西竹编在现代家具中再设计的可行性和需要考虑的因素，并基于再设计理论开展了在现代家具中融入湘西竹编的设计应用实践。

英文摘要 Chinese bamboo furniture, as an important component of Chinese furniture, has a long history, and its form is beautiful. The western area of Hunan Province (also called Xiangxi) is rich in bamboo resources, and there is a profound cultural heritage of bamboo weaving in the area. With the social development, bamboo weaving in the Xiangxi Area urgently needs to innovate its design so as to adapt to the needs of the times. Combining bamboo weaving techniques with modern furniture for redesign and produce the furniture having rich modern aesthetics can not only conform to the requirements of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development, but also meet people's aesthetic, pragmatic, and spiritual needs for furniture. At the same time, it also provides new ideas for the inheritance and development of bamboo weaving in the Xiangxi Area. The paper analyzes the feasibility and factors that need to be considered for the redesign of Xiangxi bamboo weaving into modern furniture, and applies it in practical cases based on the redesign theory.
