2015年,西雅图公用事业局发表了旨在加快绿色基础设施建设的西雅图绿色基础设施2015-2020年实施战略,文章以该战略草案为基础,结合西雅图政府网站提供的资料和其他文献,梳理并介绍了西雅图绿色雨水基础设施建设的背景、技术方法、部分实践项目、相关政策以及草案的基本内容等,并以西雅图在雨洪治理方面的成果和经验为借鉴,对我国城市水环境修复工作提出一些建议。

Green Stormwater Infrastructure in Seattle:Implementation Strategy 2015-2020 was released by Seattle Public Utilities in June, 2015. Based on the strategy and some other information available on the website of Seattle Government, this article introduces the background, tools and techniques, some completed projects and relevant policies of Green Stormwater Infrastructure in Seattle. Some suggestions on the construction of Sponge City are put forward by summarizing the achievements and experiences of Seattle in stormwater management.
