英文摘要 Based on the development practice of urban forest city in China, the paper summed up 6 countermeasure suggestions for promoting the forest city development from the 3 aspects of roadmap, missions and achievements. It was argued that the forest city should be developed and promoted in compliance with laws and regulations, the forest city development programs should be implemented by promoting the afforestation in cities as well as improving civic greening awareness, and the forest city development achievement should present the enhancement of greenness in urban regions, and benefit all residents in cities. And the 6 countermeasures were elaborated in detail for their specific contents.
