英文摘要 As a new model for agriculture development in urban environment, urban household micro-farming, with its unique productivity and living and ecological features, is distributed in urban families and has an impact on urban environment. In the rapid process of urbanization in China, crises will deepen in ecology, energy, health food and so on. The article first described the definition, characteristics, background and current development of urban household micro-farming, and then analyzed the factors influencing its development. Then a promotion model constructed by joint efforts was introduced as the focus of the study. At last, some measures were put forward to promote urban household micro-farming. To conclude, the introduction of urban household micro-farming would be one of the key factors improving urbanization progress in China.
