英文摘要 On a strategic view of developing bamboo-processing industry in China, this paper reviews the history of bamboo-processing development, and describes its present situation and main utilization ways, especially the processing methods, production technology and capability of bamboo -based panels by citing abundant statistic data and realities. Analyzed are the status and effect of bamboo-processing industry on bamboo industry development. Finally, the challenge and opportunities bamboo -processing industry is been facing with, and 5 aspects that should be highlighted in future are emphasized.
