英文摘要 Yellow River wetland in Baotou City is a unique and valuable natural resources and topographic landscape with a short distance away from the city and distinctive features. The scientific protection and rational use of the wetland will improve the ecological environment of Baotou City, expand urban green space and raise the urban quality. On the basis of analyses on the wetland climate and soil conditions as well as ecological restoration and greening requirements, the paper proposed that ecological corridor building should be included into wetland ecological improvement with the focus on ecological restoration and nature-approximating management model, and recommended the plant species that may be used according to the different site conditions of wetland.
