英文摘要 The paper introduced the general situation of higher forestry education in the USA and the profiles of SUNY-ESF.Then it further analyzed the management and operation system;the setting of professions,courses,and degrees;the status of faculty engagement,promotion,assessment and appraisal;the condition of student learning and life.Finally,it summarized some experiences for reference,i.e.the democratic decentralized management mode;the scientific setting system of professions,courses,and degrees;the outstanding level of faculty team construction;and the humane concept of service for student affairs.
