英文摘要 Abstract With the development of software and hardware techniques, computers havebeen used incressingly in foreign forest landscape resources management after the middleof 1970s. This paper presents an overview of computer applications in forest landscaperesources management, especially in the United States of America. At first, the roles ofcomputer, the important programs and their functions are introduced briefly. Then, some details of computer applications on visual analysis, forest landscape simulation aswell as visual masnitude are presented. Finally, several main weakness along with theprospectives of computer utilities are discussed in this paper.
